Honestly, its been really fun creating content for the past few months…
And a few of my friends and clients asked if is it hard to create so much content?
Won’t you feel demoralised when no one watches it?
How do you even start creating content for your business?
Let’s go in to each question one by one
1) How to make it easy to create content?
Document, don’t create…
The problem with most people starting out with content, is they always want to go viral..
They forget who exactly they are serving in their business and overlook on the fact that actually is detrimental to go viral and get a bunch of people who are not a great fit to their business to follow their social media
Rather you should just collect and document your experience sustainably
Start somewhere, be it tweets, stories or just writing your thoughts down
The more you do it the easier it will become…
2) Engagement is bait
Likes isn’t equal to the amount of business you will get from your audience
I previously cared alot about engagement as I thought it was the north star metric to how successful my content is…
But the more I create and write, I realised that the post with little or sometimes no engagement attract the best clients to take action and buy from you..
So stop trying to create viral pieces of content and start creating insightful action-taking content…
Consistently and having the right people to consume the content you put out is way more important…
3) Start creating like a salesperson, not like a creator
This is the most important point I would like you to take home today…
Create like a salesperson rather than a content creator/influencer
Your goal for content isn’t to get millions of views
but rather to get people from A ——→ B
A being not knowing about you yet and B being trust you enough to buy from you….
That’s how you should create content, don’t over complicate it
