So how do you combat cost?
I talked about this a few days back as the “NEW” marketing strategy but honestly, its just following what successful companies are already doing …
1) Open up your funnel
if you focus only on the 3% who are ready to buy now its obvious that the cost will be so high
focus on getting the 30-40% of people who are problem-aware
focus on nurturing them in the long term for the longevity of your business and scalability
2) Increase conversions
This is where people actually don’t place much effort on
the key is following up
Improving conversions via better offers/ refreshing old offers to make it feel new
Having conversations with prospects
and creating authority-based content such as podcasts to improve word of mouth and credibility + trust
Using these points, I pivoted one of the businesses that I managed after the big C using this strategy
We managed to continue growing the company 30% year on year when other similar companies in the space actually stop operating due to the high cost from ads
We were able to maintain profitability at 50%+ where other businesses were suffering
So what’s the lesson here?
There are still opportunities for growth all around, you just need to build your company the right way…
