I missed sending this email on Friday as I was preparing for a huge event today…
Had over 450 people attending live to hear the speaker I’m helping with talk about the stock markets and where it’s going in 2024…
Also had a lot of people reaching out to meet me for coffee/networking/referred me to new clients which made my schedule seem chaotic this week..
Side note had over 4 referrals this month without me asking for it, and it really felt great.
This leads me to think about word of mouth and unscalable actions in your business…
A mentor once told me to always remember to take time off to do unscalable things in your business
Stuff like Live events, calling clients up to ask how are they doing, sending birthday cards, showing up for their events to help them etc…
All seems like small stuff, but the payoffs are huge
You’ve seen me talking about how much I generated with my Facebook profile, but what people didn’t see is the countless hours of writing content, hopping on free Zoom calls to help people, and meeting people outside to talk and understand more about their pain and desire in business
Also, I have been doing it consistently every month to build up positive word of mouth during and after my agency days.
Which is why even after not posting for the last 2 years, I was still able to generate 100k from just a few posts.
So allocate some time in your week to do unscalable actions that indirectly scale your business
