Wanted to be a bit more vulnerable and share what I feel genuinely after helping a bunch of clients generate loads of $$$ by helping them run ads, build their acquisition systems, and more…
Honestly, I felt really burnt out during the agency days helping clients solve their problems and scale their business
My mentor once told me, it’s never about burning out but rather you reached a stage where the pay for the amount of work doesn’t make sense for you anymore…
And that’s very true…
I was making good money for my clients but not for myself due to the situation at that point in time, I was only taking home 6 figures
Even though it’s still fairly good pay for my 20s, I felt like I was behind my peers in the digital marketing space
Be it both in time freedom & $$$
Which was why I decided to take a step out and really take some time to think over exactly what I wanted…
My motivation is rarely about the dollar bills
it’s mainly about freedom and choice on what I want to embark on
However, having money allows you to do that with less stress and headaches
So I decided to go all in, into consulting and doubling down on my skillset to help info coaching and consulting clients extract hidden profits from their business
I knew I could just take my own advice I have been giving clients and just apply it to my own business as I helped many businesses start from zero and scale to 7 figures
secondly, it’s better for my old clients and new prospects to see my success in applying the advice i said to do
I realised in the past, clients didn’t take me seriously when I advised them to do certain strategies, and the reason for that is my positioning / experience
I might have helped many clients in their business, but I don’t run the same business
I wanted to prove to them myself that it’s possible
So that pushed me to start my consulting and to aim for a 7 figure year
Besides that, I learned in my journey not to compare, numbers are just numbers
All you should focus on is whether 1) are you happy in this journey? 2) are you achieving your goals for yourself
I am grateful that I am happier, I am richer and I am more fulfilled now than previously
But I still wouldn’t change anything of my past experiences if I had a choice, as it gave me a platform to start when I was just a beginner…
P.S. I would love to hear your raw realities as well if you could share them with me
