I had an interesting insight yesterday while talking to a friend of mine, where he was confused about how he was actually going to deliver and sell his brand-new coaching offer
Mind you, he wasn’t new…
He had generated over 8 figures in his previous company before
So he is by no means someone new to business or to the industry
But foundations never change…
The reality of running an online business is that many gurus will sell you the idea of using their “methods” to generate more money
And most of the time all of it works
But
Here’s the kicker, you might not like doing their method after a few months
You might get tired from endless sales calls where you need to sell if not you lose money
You might get tired of coaching new people who don’t know why they buy, and/or what to do
You might get tired of writing/taking videos even because that’s just not how you are wired
All these sounds pessimistic, but it’s the truth I faced and have seen many other people faced
I’m sure I can close on a webinar, but I hated doing it…
Rather than that, focus on your strengths…
For example, I’m introverted by nature
I like writing and sharing my thoughts
So rather than doing lots of sales calls etc, I find that sharing my insights with people helps me sell better and allows me to play in my own game
That’s the most important…
You can ask the customers how they want to buy and be taught, but if you can’t sustain it, what is the point?
You are building a business for YOU first and foremost
So, create the customer journey on how you want to attract and fulfill
That will give you greater satisfaction and peace in the long run
Don’t build blindly, build for yourself…
So build your customer journey the way you want for longer-term sustainability and passion
