One big objection I get when I tell my clients to create content is always:
I don’t get views or likes.
For example, they could get 50 views and 10 likes on a good day…
Then it could be 20 views and 2 likes on a bad day.
This is something I’ve faced in my YouTube journey, too.
When I launched my latest podcast 1 week ago, I only got [Insert Number] views.
You may think it’s stupid to create content when nobody is watching.
Or it could be very discouraging for you…
But your entire world will shift when you apply this ONE reframe.
When you see that you just have 50 views for a video…
Think of it as you’re pitching to 50 people in a room.
You only need 1 or 2 quality viewers or leads to buy from you.
Truth be told, that’s what I’ve experienced.
If you were to look at my Youtube Videos when I first started shooting 5 years back…

Out of my first 4 videos, I got less than 500 views for each.
Fast-forward to today. My latest six videos have gotten more than 7K views—not too bad, considering I’m in a small to mid niche.

More importantly, I noticed a bump in inquiries after producing more content.
I’m now having people coming up to me to ask about certain concepts I share in my videos (E.g., 7-4-11 Principle and Growth Killers)
This tells me that my audience is comfortable with me.
And there’s a certain level of trust and rapport has been built.
The consequence of that is that I no longer have to spend as much on ads today.
That strategic content creation strategy helped me build my personal brand and acquire leads more effortlessly.
So if you’re creating content and feel bad because nobody is watching it…
Just know that your effort will pay off one day.
