Wanted to share an exercise I did with my coachees.
- Write down some of the activities you enjoy doing in your business.
- Write down some of the activities you don’t enjoy in your business but you’re currently doing.
The interesting thing is that there are certain things we may not enjoy in biz.
But it’s necessary for our company to grow…
For example:
- Content Creation: Crafting or writing social media posts.
- Sales Calls/Discovery Calls: Getting on calls so people can buy from you.
- Following Up With Our Leads: Creating multiple touch points so they remember us.
- Employee Training: Training our team so they can do their job and make lives easier.
When it comes to activities you don’t enjoy, it’s great to have a system where you can automate or delegate to.
Case in Point:
I shared a process to help Marc engage an appointment setter.
The new hire helped Marc book 3 calls and 2 have converted so far.
The best part?
Marc didn’t have to lift a finger.
He was away on honeymoon the entire time.
The entire sales process was seamless.
As you can tell, magic happens when people and processes work in tandem.

This was surprising for Marc considering he used to do everything himself.
That was fine when he was doing activities he enjoyed – E.g. Writing.
However, it WASN’T fine when he had to do things he didn’t like.
For example, running the SAME webinar every week or hopping on sales appointments.
This is why he decided to let people and process do the heavy lifting.
Today, Marc has much more free time to spend on thinking about how he can grow his business and following.
He no longer needs to sweat the small stuff.
If you’re a solopreneur or small business owner, consider how you can leverage on the right people or processes for your company.
When done right, it’s not expensive at all…
Moreover, the headspace and time you free up could be a lot more valuable than you think.
If you want to get similar results to Marc & my other clients and scale your business…
