And it got me thinking about the power of sharing what you know.
Here’s the thing:
A lot of us hesitate to share our insights or expertise, worrying about giving away “too much” for free.
But the reality?
Those insights, those small nuggets, are exactly what bring people into your world.
And it doesn’t take much to stay a few steps ahead of someone else.
When you’re willing to share openly, you create a trust-building effect, and that leads to something powerful.
People start to binge on your content video after video.
And by the time they reach out, they’re ready.
That’s why I see YouTube as more than just a platform.
It’s a place to host videos that potential clients can binge-watch to get a sense of your expertise.
They’re able to take in your style, your insights, and your approach, all before they’ve even had a conversation with you.
If you haven’t tapped into that yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot.
You can apply this regardless of what business you’re in.
Perhaps you’re in the Financial Advisory niche, you could start sharing your views on personal finance.
Maybe you’re in the Real Estate niche, you could start sharing your insights on the property market.
Or if you’re in the health and fitness business, you could share what you know as a physical trainer.
When you give away immense value for free, you build an authentic rapport with your audience – This is key to nurturing your following.
Because while they won’t buy from you now, they will buy from you down the line.
Especially when the time is ripe and they are ready.
