I was busy enrolling a few clients over the week after I launch my irresistible offer..
All slots have been taken and I just want to say I’m thankful for the trust and support..
But back to today’s email
I went for a fumigation service that cost $80 over the weekend as I saw insects in my car
It was one of the most value for money services I paid for as
- they came down to my house
- Did everything in 1 hour
- Cost less and felt more personable than other service providers
I was curious if the person ran any ads
Turns out he did run some google ads and was making it work even when it cost $5 dollars per click
Majority of his clients come from google ads & he only provides one offer – $80 car fumigation at your convenience
So I just gave him some advice that I think would have benefit his business
1) Sell more of the same stuff
If I spent $80 already to keep cockroaches out of my car, it means that I wouldn’t like it in my car at any point of time
So upselling or offer clients after the service a subscription or yearly membership to keep cockroaches away every quarter is an easy sell
I estimate 30-50% of people would take up the offer and he would have a solid base of customers coming back to him every quarter without needing to hunt for more customers online
2) Find alternative lead sources
Since google ads work, FB/YT ads might work as well. I would spend some time to test it out to see if I can generate lower lead cost and cheaper acquisitions on various platforms
He told me that FB leads are not serious. But typically thats what all my clients tell me as well until they realised they are doing appointment setting all wrong…
Truth is if you message any car service right now , they will just ask for your car make and model and what you want them to do based on a catalogue of services
They don’t diagnose and press the pain.
I don’t think i will opt-in to a fumigation service my car is clean
3) Create more offers or refer to others for free money
Since you already paid for ads, its easy for anyone to create more offers/services or refer to their partners to get a piece of the pie.
Simply adding partners for car detailing, servicing, and enhancing mileage through various products can increase his profit without much work.
The advice are simpler than what most people think about when scaling their business. And the truth is, it is simple.
Most people are just lazy to execute and that’s the competition you are fighting against with
I hope that any one of these ideas give you much better clarity to execute and scale your business
