The other day, one of my team members asked a question that really got me thinking.
“How do you actually get clients to pay $100K to $200K per year?”
For some, the idea of one client paying that much seems like a stretch.
And honestly, when I first started, it felt out of reach for me too.
But over time, I’ve learned there’s a simple answer.
It comes down to creating an offer that’s built for the highest level of impact and value.
And delivering it to the right target audience.
Let’s break it down.
1. Build an Offer That Goes Beyond the Basics
The services you offer matter.
But how you offer them matters even more.
For me, it’s about creating a done-for-you system tailored to the unique needs of top-tier clients.
It’s not just consulting or a one-size-fits-all solution.
It’s more like a “CMO-for-hire” model.
Imagine hiring, training, and installing entire marketing systems for an agency or business owner—giving them an in-house marketing team and all the tools they need to scale in a way that saves them time and money.
This kind of offer creates multiple layers of value.
My clients get more control, more efficient systems, and the ability to generate revenue across multiple channels without constantly looking for outside help.
They don’t just get deliverables, but they get an actual strategic advantage.
2. Identify the Top 1-5% of Your Market
If you want six-figure clients, you need to go where the high earners are.
Think about your industry’s top 1-5% in terms of net worth or income.
These are people or companies facing challenges others can’t solve.
Find a problem they’re dealing with, one that hasn’t been solved well by anyone else.
For example, maybe they already know the basics of lead generation but struggle with building a sustainable sales process.
Or perhaps they’re investing in Facebook ads but haven’t cracked the code on TikTok or YouTube.
If you can address that, and become known for solving it, you’re positioning yourself as the go-to solution for this elite group.
3. Get Known for Solving the Hard Stuff
Before you can attract high-paying clients, you need to show you’re an expert at solving complex problems.
This isn’t something you can fake-it-till-you-make-it.
You actually need something to show for it.
Here’s how you do it:
You build your credibility over time by focusing on one specific challenge and becoming the best at solving it.
Clients want proof, so build your brand around this unique expertise.
Once you have a reputation for tackling difficult issues, clients won’t just be willing to pay—they’ll see you as a necessary investment.
4. Stand Out by Repositioning Your Offer
Sometimes, it’s not about creating something new but about repositioning what you already offer.
For example, if everyone else is focused on Facebook ads, maybe you become an expert in YouTube or TikTok ads.
If everyone offers general coaching, you can specialize in a niche service—like helping clients optimize their internal sales team or build in-house marketing systems.
The right positioning can make you irreplaceable.
Moreover, you can build your brand around something distinctive in your market.
5. Keep the Long Game in Mind
Reaching the top 1-5% of any market takes time, experience, and a lot of groundwork.
For me, it wasn’t an overnight journey.
It was built over years of refining my approach, solving clients’ problems, and continuously learning from each engagement.
If this feels like a big leap, know that every step compounds.
Each bit of progress adds to the foundation you’re building, and in time, your brand will reflect that value.
If you’re aiming for 6-figure clients, start by refining your offer and positioning it to solve high-level problems.
Because when you stay in your lane and focus on value, you’re already setting yourself up for big opportunities.
To your success,
Bryan
