I ate in an omakase restaurant yesterday for my 3rd anniversary with my GF

Honestly, it was one of the first times I enjoyed both the food and the experience during the meal
And for the amount I paid, I would say it’s very worth it compared to the other places I been before
This got me thinking about how exactly can you get people to experience your A-star service if your offer doesn’t attract people to come down / buy in the first place?
This is where most businesses get stuck
We think that to get more clients we need to focus on making a better product (Fulfillment)
And we spend all our time every month to see areas we can improve to get better results for our students
This is great, but the reality of business is that if you don’t have the ability to acquire clients at a profit, your business will suffer
I’m not saying you shouldn’t work on your product or fulfillment and get your clients better results
What I’m saying is to focus and prioritize on client-generating activities (acquisition)
This issue affects both new and experienced business owners alike
I recently faced a similar issue where one of my business was steadily generating positive cashflow for me
But I have neglected to focus on client-generating activities for a few months
And after studying the data, my partners and I realised we had been focusing on the wrong things all along
Stagnation is your worst enemy in business
To fight that you need to be constantly acquiring clients and growing at least 20% year on year
The only way to do that is to spend more time on client acquisition and plug the holes in your funnel
So prioritize acquiring clients and make your business great again
